I met with Grainne Hamilton of the University of Strathclyde at lunchtime today with a view to developing a new unit on online mentoring. Grainne has a lot of hands-on experience of e-moderation. The unit would be the first qualification that SQA has offered that is explicitly linked to this crucial aspect of online learning.

The unit would be available stand-alone but will probably feature within one of the existing E-Qualification awards too. I’m hoping to have it available by the end of next month.

More information from Caroline.
