We’ve recently received a lot of enquiries about the NPA in Digital Passport. This qualification was devised last year and piloted during the current session. The pilot comes to an end this month.

The award will be open to all centres from 1 August, when there will be a web page on the SQA website detailing the contents of the award and a list of resources to help you deliver it. It is auto approved for all Scottish schools and colleges.

The qualification FAQ provides information on the award, including links to all of the component Units, which have been available to all centres since last August.

There will be a launch event for this award in the Autumn (date and location to be decided) when some of the pilot centres will explain their experience of delivering the award during the current session. The feedback has been positive and the qualification appears to have been well received in centres. I think a lot of centres will offer it next session.
