The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/bobbyelliott\/\">Christmas party <\/a>seems a distant memory.<\/p>\n<p>There are a great deal of interesting projects coming up this year including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/sqacomputing.blogspot.com\/2005\/12\/nc-review.html\">National Certificate review<\/a><\/li>\n<li>HNC\/D Information Technology validation and launch<\/li>\n<li>introduction of library PDAs<\/li>\n<li>establishment of new Qualification Support Teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We&#8217;re also developing a wide range of support materials for such courses as HNC\/D Computing and HNC\/D Multimedia.<\/p>\n<p>Stow College is working on the second part of their Computer Games development &#8211; having recently validated an HNC Computer Games Development the centre is now developing the corresponding HND award.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile we will continue to support the E-Learning suite of awards and promote the recently revised SVQs in Information Technology.<\/p>\n<p>On a personal basis, I&#8217;m hoping that the new <a href=\"http:\/\/scottisheducation.blogspot.com\/\">Scottish Education blog <\/a>develops a regular readership during the coming year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The team returned to work this morning.
