{"id":1083,"date":"2005-06-03T19:33:00","date_gmt":"2005-06-03T18:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sqablogs.lndo.site\/computing\/2005\/06\/03\/computer-games-qualification\/"},"modified":"2005-06-03T19:33:00","modified_gmt":"2005-06-03T18:33:00","slug":"computer-games-qualification","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing-digital\/computer-games-qualification\/","title":{"rendered":"Computer games qualification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.stow.ac.uk\/\">Stow College <\/a>has been developing a new award entitled <em>HNC Computer Games Development<\/em> during the last 18 months &#8212; and today was the culmination of those efforts when the college hosted the validation event.<\/p>\n<p>After serving on the Qualification Design Team during the <a href=\"http:\/\/sqacomputing.blogspot.com\/2005\/03\/hnd-computing-validation-event.html\">HND Computing validation event<\/a>, it was a pleasure being on the other side of the table today! The photo below shows the QDT for this award, led by <a href=\"mailto:dhughes@stow.ac.uk\">David Hughes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/img\/188\/972\/1024\/IMGP14231.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/img\/188\/972\/320\/IMGP14231.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>The validation event went very smoothly &#8212; mainly due to the high quality of the documentation which was created by <a href=\"mailto:mdocherty@stow.ac.uk\">Mike Docherty <\/a>(seen speaking here).<\/p>\n<p>Although the award was not validated until certain conditions were met, the conditions were minor and the team hope to have the award validated by the end of this month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stow College has been developing a new award entitled HNC Computer Games Development during the last 18 months &#8212; and today was the culmination of those efforts when the college hosted the validation event.
