{"id":1128,"date":"2005-01-19T15:50:00","date_gmt":"2005-01-19T15:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sqablogs.lndo.site\/computing\/2005\/01\/19\/netskills-and-e-qualifications\/"},"modified":"2005-01-19T15:50:00","modified_gmt":"2005-01-19T15:50:00","slug":"netskills-and-e-qualifications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing-digital\/netskills-and-e-qualifications\/","title":{"rendered":"NetSkills and E-Qualifications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Joe Wilson and I attended a meeting with <a href=\"mailto:cswee001@udcf.gla.ac.uk\">Charlie Sweeney<\/a> of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rsc-sw-scotland.ac.uk\/\">Jisc <\/a>and <a href=\"mailto:d.w.hartland@ncl.ac.uk\">Dave Hartland<\/a> of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.netskills.ac.uk\/\">NetSkills <\/a>this morning to see if the excellent NetSkills training programmes can be used support the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smartgroups.com\/groups\/e-qualifications\">E-Qualifications<\/a> suite of awards.<\/p>\n<p>NetSkills training material covers a wide range of topics &#8211; including e-learning &#8211; and is used by a large number of Scottish colleges. So it makes sense to recognise this training and accredit it where it contributes to an SQA qualification&#8230; and we&#8217;re hoping that the material covers a part of the E-Qualification suite.<\/p>\n<p>The first stage is to map NetSkills courses onto the E-Qualifications framework and then take it from there.
