Twenty two training providers attended. The purpose of QN meetings is to share good practice (between verifiers and centres) but today&#8217;s meeting was dominated by the changes to the IT User SVQs.<br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/img\/188\/972\/1024\/Quality%20Network%20-%20May%202004.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" style=\"border:1px solid #000000;margin:2px\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/img\/188\/972\/200\/Quality%20Network%20-%20May%202004.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Chris Morrow of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.e-skills.com\/\">E-Skills <\/a>attended and provided an overview of the main changes to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.e-skills.com\/cgi-bin\/wms.pl\/165\">National Occupational Standards<\/a>. Jack Robertson (SQA) showed how the new Standards have been translated into qualifications. I explained the timeline for the introduction of the new awards and encouraged everyone to join the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smartgroups.com\/groups\/svqs\">SVQ forum<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The new Standards\/qualifications were well received.
