The EVs meet once per year for a &#8220;standardisation&#8221; meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure that the verifiers apply the same standards to centres when they carry out verification visits.\u00a0It was a good meeting and we covered a lot of ground.<\/p>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/20161029_100701.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2034 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/20161029_100701-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"Saturday External Verifiers meeting around board meeting table at SQA\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a>\n<p>The team consists of 10 EVs, led by the Senior External Verifier. The EVs are selected from colleges, universities, schools and training centres. I&#8217;m currently short of school and university representation so please <a href=\"mailto:helen.zhang@sqa.org.uk\">let Helen\u00a0know<\/a> if you are interested in serving in either of these roles.
