The idea behind teachmeet is for teachers to share best practice using (very) short presentations on a wide range of topics. It&#8217;s a bit like speed-dating for academics.\u00a0There was a fantastic turnout, around 100 teachers attended, considering it started at 5pm.<\/p>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/20170517_184906.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2241\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/20170517_184906-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a>\n<p>I&#8217;ve never been asked to cover so much in so little time. So I sped through a brief summary of SQA&#8217;s National Progression Awards (NPAs) including Digital Literacy, Digital Passport, PC Passport and Cyber Security. It was friendly, informal\u00a0and, most of all, genuinely informative.
