It reached a milestone this week when its <a href=\"http:\/\/www.insider.co.uk\/news\/codeclan-places-150-graduates-digital-11109147#ICID=nsm\">150th graduate<\/a> joined The Register of Scotland in a programming post.<\/p>\n<p>CodeClan offers the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/sqa\/76243.html\">PDA in Software Development<\/a> to all of its students. I recently attended its first <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing\/2329-2\/\">award ceremony<\/a> in its HQ in Edinburgh. It was great to see so many young, and not so young, people enter the IT industry.<\/p>\n<p>The PDA was designed as a short, intensive course in coding. It&#8217;s available at SCQF Levels 7, 8 and 9 (graduate level) and takes 120 hours to complete. It covers the design, development and testing of software.
