{"id":4149,"date":"2023-09-04T11:10:40","date_gmt":"2023-09-04T10:10:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sqablogs.lndo.site\/computing\/?p=4149"},"modified":"2023-09-04T11:10:40","modified_gmt":"2023-09-04T10:10:40","slug":"sqa-connections-week-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing-digital\/sqa-connections-week-2\/","title":{"rendered":"SQA Connections Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following the success of last year\u2019s SQA Connections Week, SQA will be running the event again from Monday 2nd to Thursday 5th October 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The online event offers schools, colleges and employers\/training providers the opportunity to learn about qualification updates, get insights into new developments, and develop ideas for the future.<\/p>\n<p>SQA Computing will be running the following sessions:<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday 4th October<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>3pm &#8211; 4pm<\/strong>: <strong>National Progression Award (NPA) in Esports<\/strong> &#8211; this session will provide an overview of our new NPA Esports at SCQF levels 4,5,6.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thursday 5th October<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>3pm \u2013 4pm<\/strong>: <strong>CBQs in Digital Technology<\/strong> \u2013 this session will provide an update on our new Diploma in Digital Technology at SCQF levels 6&amp;8.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Delegates will be able to register for as many sessions as they like, and the event can be attended by anyone within a centre.<\/p>\n<p>A full programme is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/sqa\/files_ccc\/SQA-Connections-Week-Programme-2023.pdf\">here<\/a> and you can book your place on our <a href=\"https:\/\/athena.sqameet.net\/\">event booking system<\/a>\u00a0If\u202fyou have not used our online event booking system before, you will need to register as a new user.<\/p>\n<p>Should you have any queries or require support booking your place please contact our\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sqaevents@sqa.org.uk\">Events Team<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following the success of last year\u2019s SQA Connections Week, SQA will be running the event again from Monday 2nd to Thursday 5th October 2023.
