These meetings take place once or twice a year so that the EVs apply common standards when they check centres. Me and my team take the opportunity to update the EVs about qualification developments so that they&#8217;re aware of what has changed and what is coming.<\/p>\n<p>We recently separated the verification groups so that 358 Digital Literacy is now separate from 357 Computer Science and 288 Information Technology. So the Digital team (led by Hilary) now has it&#8217;s own verification group and we have a <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing-digital\/computing-and-digital-blogs-merged\/\">combined blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re always looking for people to get involved with us, as members of one of our committees (Sector Panel and Qualifications Support Team) or join the EV team so please <a href=\"mailto:helen.zhang@qualifications.gov.scot\">contact Helen<\/a> if you&#8217;re interested in helping.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The annual standardisation meeting for External Verifiers (EVs) took place on Saturday.
