{"id":700,"date":"2009-05-14T16:24:00","date_gmt":"2009-05-14T15:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sqablogs.lndo.site\/computing\/2009\/05\/14\/successful-npa-validation\/"},"modified":"2009-05-14T16:24:00","modified_gmt":"2009-05-14T15:24:00","slug":"successful-npa-validation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing-digital\/successful-npa-validation\/","title":{"rendered":"Successful NPA validation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As many of you will know, we are developing a large suite of NPA awards, three of which were <a href=\"http:\/\/sqacomputing.blogspot.com\/2009\/01\/npa-validation-event.html\">validated a couple of months ago<\/a> resulting in a large number of conditions to be addressed before the awards were acceptable.<\/p>\n<p>This morning we held the re-validation event for the following awards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Digital Media Basics (SCQF 4)<\/li>\n<li>Digital Media Editing (SCQF 5)<\/li>\n<li>Digital Media Animation (SCQF 5).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This time the awards were validated without conditions. There were a large number of recommendations, but no conditions, which means we can operationalise them immediately and make them available to centres as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>There are <a href=\"http:\/\/sqacomputing.blogspot.com\/2009\/04\/npa-qdt-meeting-today.html\">two more validation events for NPAs in early June<\/a>, when we hope to make another siex awards available to centres.
