HND Esports
Following on from the recent development of HNC Esports, we have commenced the development of HND Esports. This will be a “Next Gen” qualification, which means, among other things, that HNDs are stand-alone qualifications. The first meeting of the Qualification Development Team (QDT) took place yesterday. The QDT consists of representatives of colleges, universities and employers.
There was a full attendance at the meeting. The purpose of the first meeting is scene-setting so members were “talked at” for most of the time. But it was vital information about design principles, the development process, and the various roles involved in creating a new qualification. The next step is to select a lead developer, who will play a key role in creating the qualification.
We hope to develop the qualification over the next six months. It’s not too late to get involved so please contact Helen if you want to volunteer for the QDT or just find out more about the qualification.
