This year&#8217;s event was chaired by the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing\/senior-external-verifier-for-computing\/\">new Senior External Verifier for Computing<\/a>. The role of the Senior EV has changed. It&#8217;s now more of a leadership role than a bureaucratic one.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the annual update is to ensure that EVs are familiar with procedures, and that they all apply the same standards during their visits to centres. The <a href=\"http:\/\/1drv.ms\/1Ujo2Vt\">presentation <\/a>seemed to be well received and generated a lot of discussion.
