I’m pleased to let you know that the enhanced materials for NPA Cyber Security<\/a> are on their way to schools and colleges. Every school and college in Scotland will receive a complete set of nine brochures<\/strong> that cover the contents of the NPA and provide advice to teachers about how best to deliver the qualification. The complete list of brochures is:<\/p>\n

  1. Educator’s Guide (x1)<\/li>\n
  2. Learner’s Guides (x3 one each for Data Security, Digital Forensics and Ethical Hacking)<\/li>\n
  3. Worksheets (x3 one each for Data Security, Digital Forensics and Ethical Hacking)<\/li>\n
  4. Practical Guides (x2 one each for Digital Forensics and Ethical Hacking).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \"\"<\/a>The enhanced versions don’t just look better – they are better. We’ve plugged a few gaps in the original notes and tried to improve explanations. We’ve also tried to better match the materials with the assessments (on SOLAR). So you should find that the new materials better prepare learners for their assessments.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

    Digital (PDF) versions of all of the materials are available (now) on SQA Secure<\/a>, from where you can download them for use on your internal networks. Please note that the original (version 1) materials have been removed. Additional paper copies of the materials can be ordered from The Write People for Design<\/a>, at a cost of \u00a3510 for 10 sets of the brochures, by e-mailing karen@thewritepeople.co.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n
