Learners undertaking these courses will receive SCQF credit points. These courses should be of particular interest to anyone who is undertaking or interested in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/sqa\/74739.html\">NPAs Cyber Security<\/a>, as they will acquire evidence for the NPA Cyber Security at the relevant level. Please see below for more details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cyber Discovery&#8217;s Virtual Cyber Security School<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/cyber-school.joincyberdiscovery.com\/\">https:\/\/cyber-school.joincyberdiscovery.com\/<\/a> (13 &#8211; 18 years old)<\/p>\n<p>This online initiative aims to inspire future talent to work in the cyber security sector and give students a variety of activities to do remotely.<\/p>\n<p>Teens can learn how to crack codes, fix security flaws and dissect criminals\u2019 digital trails while progressing through the game as a cyber agent. This will help them develop important skills needed for future jobs, particularly in cyber security.<\/p>\n<p>The programme provides free weekly webinars run by industry experts teaching fundamental security disciplines such as digital forensics, cryptography and operating systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CyberFirst Summer Courses: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/smallpeicetrust.org.uk\/cyberfirst\">https:\/\/smallpeicetrust.org.uk\/cyberfirst<\/a> (14 &#8211; 17 years old)<\/p>\n<p>Enrolled students will learn how to code and carry out cyber security operations in an instructor-led virtual classroom to help guide the students through the programme and build a sense of camaraderie within each cohort.<\/p>\n<p>The courses are moving online this year to help more than a thousand 14 to 17-year-olds develop important cyber skills from home during the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The courses provide SCQF credit points at SCQF levels 4, 5 and 6, and in Scotland also provide young people with Young Scot points!<\/p>\n<p><strong>CyberLand: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cybergamesuk.com\/\">https:\/\/cybergamesuk.com\/<\/a> (teens)<\/p>\n<p>The National Crime Agency and Cyber Security Challenge UK have are providing access to their online cyber skills platform CyberLand for free during the coming months.
