I hope you had a good summer holiday. If you have a quick question, we can be contacted in Chat on Teams (using these email addresses).<\/p>\n<p>We recently set-up two new Microsoft Teams for educators.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"8729MCjSgR\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing\/support-network-for-teachers\/\">Support network for teachers<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Support network for teachers&#8221; &#8212; Computing Blog\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/computing\/support-network-for-teachers\/embed\/#?secret=QXJns240MD#?secret=8729MCjSgR\" data-secret=\"8729MCjSgR\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Computing Support Network is for everyone who teaches a vocational Computing qualification. There are dedicated communities (channels) within this team for some specific qualifications such as NPA Cyber Security and NPA Data Science.<\/p>\n<p>The second new team is for Next Gen Higher National Qualifications.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/teams.microsoft.com\/l\/team\/19%3Ao41J4yN94vORYlJL6zbfZQrbZNwa163iidztLhaTnEg1%40thread.tacv2\/conversations?groupId=0702bfef-9507-439d-ab98-67b26b484a2c&amp;tenantId=2bc4b4d8-b415-4f6c-8bb8-2c2985d7171f\">General | Next Gen Computing<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next Gen qualifications &#8220;open up&#8221; this session &#8212; which means that any Scottish college can offer these qualifications. So we thought it worthwhile to provide dedicated support for these new awards. We&#8217;ve developed a number of Next Gen HNQs over the last six years:<\/p>\n<p>HNC Computing<br \/>\nHND Computer Science<br \/>\nHND Data Science<br \/>\nHNC Esports<br \/>\nHND Networking &amp; Cloud Infrastructure<br \/>\nHND Software Development.<\/p>\n<p>If you deliver (or are thinking of delivering) any of these qualifications, I would encourage you to join the new team, where you will get support from us and from fellow practitioners.
