You are invited to get involved.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Why the Technologies \u00a0Es &amp; Os are being refreshed<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Technologies is an ever changing area and\u00a0Scottish Government&#8217;s Curriculum for Excellence (CfE)\u00a0management group agreed in summer 2016 to refresh the original outcomes for Computing Science and Digital Literacy.\u00a0The Technologies\u00a0\u2018Significant Aspects of Learning\u2019\u00a0were refreshed in 2015 and the key concepts they outline are essential in the refresh of the Es\u00a0&amp; Os.<\/li>\n<li>The CfE statement stated that \u201c<em>there will be two key resources for all teachers to use to plan learning, teaching and assessment: Es &amp; Os &amp; Benchmarks<\/em>\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>How to get involved<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Education Scotland is\u00a0hosting two\u00a0face to face consultation events<\/strong> <strong>on the 12<sup>th<\/sup> of October in Glasgow or the 18<sup>th<\/sup> of October in Dundee<\/strong>.\u00a0The events are open to everyone who is interested including teachers, parents and industry groups.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please register using the links below:<\/p>\n<p>Glasgow event \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/technologies-es-and-os-consultation-event-glasgow-tickets-28232947506\">https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/technologies-es-and-os-consultation-event-glasgow-tickets-28232947506<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dundee event \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/technologies-es-and-os-consultation-event-dundee-tickets-28233168166\">https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/technologies-es-and-os-consultation-event-dundee-tickets-28233168166<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you can\u2019t attend the events there is\u00a0a feedback form where you can offer suggested changes and comments.
