{"id":69,"date":"2019-12-18T13:13:07","date_gmt":"2019-12-18T13:13:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/mentalhealthandwellbeing\/?p=69"},"modified":"2020-02-28T15:15:39","modified_gmt":"2020-02-28T15:15:39","slug":"delivery-approaches-and-experiences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/mentalhealthandwellbeing\/2019\/12\/18\/delivery-approaches-and-experiences\/","title":{"rendered":"Delivery Approaches and Experiences"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 26 November and 4 December, we hosted our first Understanding Standards events for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/sqa\/83453.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SQA Mental Health and Wellbeing Awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The events provided support and guidance to both centres currently teaching the awards, and centres who are thinking about teaching the awards in the near future. Delegates heard presentations from Larbert High School and St Ambrose High School, who shared their approaches to delivering the awards with their candidates, and we also discussed how the awards are verified. During workshop activities, delegates reviewed examples of candidate evidence and discussed the evidence requirements for each unit.
