It was a really interesting day, with Alasdair Allan launching the Scottish Government\u2019s Scots Language Policy, a keynote address from James Robertson, and a chance to meet Hamish MacDonald, the new Scots Scriever.<\/p>\n<p>Our workshop focused on the Scots Language Award, and how to deliver it to different groups of students. We\u2019ve uploaded our <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.qualifications.gov.scot\/scottishstudies\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/ScotsInSchoolsConferenceSep15.pptx\" rel=\"\">slides<\/a>\u00a0for any and all to view and download.<\/p>\n<p>Along with a series of workshops on teaching scots in primary and secondary settings, the conference offered information and stalls from publishers and broadcasters using Scots.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last Thursday we ran a couple of workshops at Education Scotland\u2019s Scots in Schools conference.
